This Privacy Policy applies to the Motivic MIDI application for Android and Windows. Your privacy is critically important to us, and our policy is straightforward: Motivic MIDI does not collect, transmit, track, or store any personal user data or telemetry.

1. Data Collection and Usage

Motivic MIDI is designed as a standalone, offline creative tool. We do not require you to create an account, we do not track your usage analytics, and we do not transmit any of your generated musical sequences, settings, or project files to external servers.

2. Local Storage and File Access

The applications require specific on-device interactions to function, all of which are handled entirely locally:

MIDI Export (Android & Windows): When you choose to export a session, the app uses native file system dialogs (e.g., Android's Storage Access Framework or Windows File Explorer) to save standard .mid files directly to a local folder of your choosing.
Image Sharing (Android): When utilizing the "Share Chord Matrix" feature, the app generates a temporary image file in your device's local cache to pass to your chosen Android share target (such as email or messaging apps). This file is stored only temporarily and never transmitted elsewhere.
MIDI Routing (Android & Windows): When routing MIDI to external hardware or desktop DAW software, all MIDI messages are transmitted strictly over your physical USB connection or local virtual MIDI drivers. No network transmission occurs.

3. Third-Party Services

Motivic MIDI does not integrate with third-party advertising networks, analytics tracking tools, or cloud synchronization services.

4. Changes to This Policy

If there are any material changes to how Motivic MIDI handles data in future updates, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
